- Fred Blackbourn & Sons Inc. started out in the early 1920’s as a country store, five miles east of Shullsburg in Dunbarton Wisconsin. They sold a little of everything that farmers needed in those days which included such things as clothes washers, radios and even coal. The farm equipment brand they sold was the Racine Wisconsin built Case tractors. The store was located on a rail line so everything was shipped to the store by rail.
