REVIEW OF BIOPERINE
Bioperine is an extract derived from Black Pepper fruits, also known as Piper Nigrum L, which is native to Southern India, as well as other countries which have tropical climates. It is a fruit bearing flowering vine, which is harvested for its fruit, which is then dried and used as the commonly known spice –Black Pepper. However, both green pepper and white pepper are created from this very same plant; although through a different process.

REVIEW OF Bioperine
The use of Black Pepper dates back to the Egyptians, who used it as part of the mummification procedure. In fact it was used through out ancient cultures for a variety of purposes, as well as in modern culture. It is used as a holistic remedy in Ayurvedic Medicine to treat ailments, such as constipation, earache, heart disease, joint issues, hernia, bug bites, lung disease and sleeplessness, to name only a few. Black Pepper has appeared in modern culture as a holistic ingredient in the form of Bioperine. Bioperine is the patented name for the ingredient Piperine, which is extracted from Black Pepper through a controlled procedure, which separates it from the original component –Black Pepper. Piperine is the element which is responsible for the taste and smell of black pepper. Product developers suggest that this ingredient can help provide the bodies systems with a more efficient method of transporting nutrients responsible for fat burning. However, we do not believe that there is enough research available to corroborate this concept. In fact there are studies underway that suggest that this ingredient may well have some negative effects on the sperm of users. It is also being studied to see if it has any carcinogenic properties. Clearly additional research needs to be conducted on this ingredient.
