Description
The Big Bear Valley Historical Society was founded in November of 1967 by a small group of people who wished to preserve the colorful past of this high mountain valley.
- To increase the appreciation of Big Bear Valley history, preserve historical artifacts and landmarks, and to promote research in the area.
- To obtain, maintain, and operate a museum in which to display historical artifacts pertaining to Big Bear Valley and the west for the benefit of all persons, interested on a not-for-profit basis.
