Having most of the puzzle pieces dumped in front of you, with out the picture is not enough to finish the puzzle efficiently, if at all. Beyond House Plans has been created out of a need to help homeowners learn residential building technology enough to prepare for maintenance and renovations.
My name is Louie Turcotte, Jr. and I am the creator of Beyond House Plans dot-com. I have spent the last twenty-five years in the commercial and residential design field. If I had to sum up my experience Building technology would be my expertise. With that said, maintaining my home needs to be balanced out with a full-time job, raising a family and maintaining my sense of humor. Much the same as everyone else. The typical homeowner does not need the same experience to manage his projects. But what I know is that an understanding of basic building technology, being able to investigate potential problems and having a reliable guide will make home ownership more enjoyable. With education and preparation comes confidence.
