Every other year it is my turn to host our chapter of The Links, Inc. and every other year I search in vain for interesting and non-work-intensive menus for our club meeting. When I was a Professional Bridal Consultant, families used to ask me for menus for bridal showers, bridesmaids luncheon, family brunches, baby showers, and cake and punch wedding receptions, that the hostess could prepare on her own. I always came up with something nice, but it was hard.
