Description

The Policy Center is a research-based, non-partisan program that brings the voice of babies and toddlers to public policy to promote good health, strong families, and positive early learning experiences. The Policy Center:

Request for Information from Communities Building Early Childhood Systems ZERO TO THREE is seeking examples of local communities working collaboratively to develop a comprehensive system of services and policies for young children (prenatal through age 5) and their families. Exemplary models will be highlighted at a national policy summit co-hosted by ZERO TO THREE and Cuyahoga County, Ohio’s Invest in Children in the late spring of 2007. Examples must be submitted electronically by June 30, 2006.

Also, the Council of Chief State School Officers is looking for promising practices of state and local programs that link schools to the development of infants and toddlers. Click here for more information about the CCSSO effort.
