Bethlehem School celebrated its 125th birthday last year. When the school opened in 1883, it was a native school, which means it was a Māori school. Bethlehem School is in Tauranga, in the Bay of Plenty. There are three marae connected with our school, they are called Ngati Kahu, Hangarau and Huria. The school now has over 400 kids. We have three syndicates, Senior, Middle and Junior, which include two Māori immersion classes.
