The Town of Bethel is a small New England town is located in northern Fairfield County, sixty miles northeast of New York City and fifty miles southwest of Hartford. Bethel is a vibrant, family oriented town with two lively shopping districts, a newly renovated and expanded Public Library, and a school system consisting of 3 Elementary Schools, one Middle and one High School. The town also is home to several churches, Saint Mary School and an active Parks and Recreation Center which runs many programs throughout the year.
