- T he Sirius GT story begins with a respected and nationally known developer of construction management systems. Their product had the unique feature of being able to run multi-user and multi-tasking under Unix and MS-DOS. This 'cross platform' capability was developed by AcuCorp (San Diego, CA) who were the authors of the programming language that Sirius GT was originally written in. This MS-DOS feature attracted the attention of Microsoft, who was just releasing a new operating system called Windows that did not yet have these capabilities.
