Early last century, a young Polish craftsman named Sam Berkowitz migrated from London to Melbourne and established a furniture factory in Prahran, which led to the opening in 1949, of the famous Berkowitz Fine Furniture Store in Collins Street.
Since then, the family has opened 6 stores around Melbourne, carrying on the tradition of excellence in service, quality and value established by their predecessor.
