Mark Berger earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pomona College and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the USC School of Cinema-Television. For the past six years, Mark has worked as an Interactive Producer for various companies including Sega Games, Paramount Digital Entertainment, Internal & External Communications, AppNet, Veon (acquired by Philips) and now Berger & Fries where he produced content and applications for clients such as Viacom, Sony, HBO, Skechers, Pathe, LVMH, Hyundai, DENSO, e-SIM and Wyle Systems. Mark's skill set includes a comprehensive methodology for scheduling, budgeting and developing many types of Web sites, programming in HTML, JavaScript, DHTML, XML, ASP, PHP, Perl, various databases, and the analysis of business needs to find unique technical solutions.

Many of Mark's skills were developed as he produced and/or directed numerous short films and documentaries that have received major grants, been shown at film festivals around the country and broadcast on PBS. Most notably, Mark's documentary film that chronicles the quest of a Latino teenager named "Jose" to meet Presidential candidate and syndicated columnist Pat Buchanan at the 1996 Republican National convention in San Diego titled "Too Many Joses" was supported by a regional grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities and acquired by WGBH-TV (Boston) for broadcast through 2002. Mark has held positions in almost every facet of the documentary production process including: director, producer, researcher, grant writer, line producer, production manager, sound recorder, sound editor, cinematographer, editor, and on-line editor.

In his political career, Mark served as the Campaign Director for John Saler's bid to be Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania; the Legislative Correspondent for US Senator Harris Wofford; and the Campaign Director for the California Public Interest Research Group (CALPIRG). Mark has attended 4 National Political Conventions since 1984 when he started as a page on the floor of the Democratic National convention in San Francisco.
