Description
Formed in 1995, The Beothuck Street Players are a community theatre group, based in St. John's, Newfoundland which produces quality drama to professional standards. This award-winning drama group has produced work from farce to musical theatre (ie. 'Blood Brothers' and 'Evita') while also having the sensitivity for serious drama. Beothuck Street also has an affinity for Irish theatre, producing classics like O'Casey's 'Juno and the Paycock' as well as newer 'Irish' plays, like 'The Beauty Queen of Leenane' and 'The Lonesome West' by Martin McDonagh.
