- Born in Ellensburg, Washington with stops in Wenatchee, Walla Walla and Yakima along the way, Adam knows the terrain East of the Cascades well. And like older brother Drew, Adam was a standout quarterback in high school although he played for Yakima High rather than chase his brother's records in Walla Walla. Heavily recruited by colleges throughout the country, Adam settled on the University of Colorado where he played quarterback for three years. There, as a side benefit to playing on a national stage in Colorado he also met his future wife, Courtney. After three years at Colorado, Adam traveled westward to Oregon where he played his final year of college ball at Western Oregon in Monmouth. After college, Adam played a year of professional football in Italy for the Ancona Dolphins. While playing in Italy, Adam discovered the wines of Tuscany and Piemonte and today he continues to seek out wines with bold flavors in the Northwest and Walla Walla in particular.
