Since 1993 Ben has been working in people and lifestyle photography. Shoots are mostly done on location where Ben is freer to express his creativity. Inside or out, available light or artificial, lighting the atmosphere always plays a key role in Ben's work even when the pictures look like snapshots.
Although Amsterdam-based, Ben from works all over Europe and has also shot reportage in Miami and Latin-America. Ben has published editorial work in; Amica, Cosmopolitan, Playboy, Men's Healh, Votre Beauté etc. And Adidas, Nike, Pall Mall, Philip Morris, Kellogg's and Radio Donna are some of his many advertising clients.
