It's said that many businesses' foundations are fashioned from the backs of adversity. Behler Publications is no exception to that adage. Adversity began four years ago when my book found its way into the hands of an unscrupulous publisher who promised the sun and moon but delivered only a black hole of discouragement and despair. Determined that my husband and I could do far better than killing off the dreams of talented authors, we set about learning the industry.
After exhaustive research, Behler Publications opened its doors in 2003. We named our company in honor of one of my main characters in my book. Had it not been for the belief in my writing and the strength that my story provided, this company - our lives - would have taken an entirely different path. Rather than allowing ourselves to become another hapless victim, we transcended the experience.
Our premise is simple - sign only the best and always remember that honesty is the most powerful ally. We're great believers of what you put out, you receive ten-fold. In the end, all any of us have is our integrity.
