Our decision to develop a new line of bear proof products and launch the BearSaver company was a natural outgrowth of the passion of our staff members for wildlife and outdoor recreation. Among our staff are avid campers and outdoor enthusiasts, who spend much of their leisure time in the Sierras camping and hiking. They are very aware of and concerned about the growing problem of bears foraging for human food and the increasingly frequent unpleasant consequences.
