Mrs. Jones had a vision to build a multi-use community of just over 500 residential homes, quiet commercial businesses, a public elementary school, and charitable organizations. Her goals were to plan the community so that it would promote pedestrian travel along with ample recreation areas, and front porches located close to the street to encourage social interaction among residents.
