Belire Boxers was established in the UK in 1980 when Clifford and Peter Squires purchased their first Boxer bitch, purely as a pet. Clifford was persuaded to show her when Sheila Crompton a Championship Show judge, stopped them both in the street exclaiming what a wonderful example of a Boxer she was.
In 1982, we visited Holland and were taken on a visit to many kennels over there. The Dutch people opened their houses to us and we began the start of many new friendships. We were astounded by the beauty of the bloodlines, especially from the Dommeldal stock where we found our first import.
The owners of Bandelero were keeping two superb Boxers, but allowed us to purchase them in 1987.
