Description
BCRx now offers three Organon oral contraceptive products: CYCLESSA® (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) tablets, and DESOGEN® (desogestrel/ ethinyl estradiol) tablets. Each product contains the progestin, desogestrel, which is known to have low androgenicity. The BCRx formulary now includes NUVARING® , the FIRST monthly vaginal ring for birth control.
CYCLESSA® , the lowest estrogen dose triphasic oral contraceptive available, reduces overall hormonal exposure while maintaining contraceptive efficacy and excellent cycle control. CYCLESSA® 's low dose formulation and excellent side effect profile makes it an ideal alternative to the older, higher dose triphasic OCs.
