Bloomington Covenant Church is part of the Evangelical Covenant Church, a denomination of more than 750 congregations in the US and Canada, with approximately 2000 congregations worldwide.

The Evangelical Covenant Church emerged out a spiritual awakening in Sweden in the late 1800s and was founded by emigrants to the US in 1885. Today, the Covenant Church is one of the fastest growing denominations in the world as we continue to be "kingdom minded" in our commitment to preach, teach, and model the truth of Jesus Christ.
