Description
BCGA is the British trade association representing companies in the industrial gases industry that manufacture and distribute gases, manufacture receptacles to contain them or equipment to use them.
The term "industrial gases" refers to gases such as acetylene, argon, ammonia, carbon dioxide, chlorine, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, etc., used in a wide range of applications. Its Members also supply gases and equipment to the electronics, food, scientific and medical sectors. BCGA does not represent the interests of the compressed air or natural gas industries.
The membership of BCGA, composed of sixty companies includes manufacturers and distributors of gases, manufacturers of gas cylinders, manufacturers of equipment used with gases (principally gas regulators and gas welding and cutting equipment) and installers of systems for the distribution of gases.
