Our division can look back at a successful year in 2005, in which we reached important milestones – the re-acquisition of the co-promotion rights for Levitra, the establishment of the oncology organization in the United States and the fast launch of Nexavar, the cooperation agreement for our Factor Xa-inhibitor BAY 59-7939 and the licensing negotiations for Pritor and alfimeprase, which were completed in early 2006, to name just a few examples.
The integration of Pharma and Biological Products into the new Pharmaceuticals Division has laid the foundations to continue with the success also in 2006.
Establish the new organizational structure with clearly defined processes and responsibilities. We will ensure that we maintain the holistic frame for our Pharmaceuticals division.
