Description
Robert Greygrass grew up far from his mother's Lakota and Cherokee roots, but he has been walking on Turtle Island for many years now. Turning his spiritual quest into story, poem and theater, he shares an honest, poignant and humorous journey of two-leggeds living in North America. A sun dancer and singer, Robert draws on historical and contemporary experience, bringing to life characters that explore the human experience through a Native man's eyes.
Known for a dynamic performance style and full-blooded, uncensored repertoire of traditional narratives, Ben Haggarty remains one of Europe's most influential storytellers. He specializes in Wonder Tales and Bronze Age Epic Mythology, revealing that human concerns have always been contemporary issues. As he calls up the collective voice of the ancestors, Haggarty walks the line between the epic and the familiar, bringing nimble description and crackling passion to Gilgamesh or Frankenstein.
