PlanoScan 2000 Software by Bausch & Lomb
Used in conjunction with the Technolas 217a and operates within the treatment range of that laser. PlanoScan is optimized to avoid repeated consecutive pulses on the same region of the cornea, thereby resulting in smoother ablation over the entire surface of the eye. Furthermore, this reduces the thermal load on the laser which significantly reduces post surgery complications.
