A. Baur & Co. Ltd., have, for over 100 years, been closely associated with the Agricultural sector in sri lanka and being the pioneers in supplying fertilizer for the industry. Therefore it was only natural that we venture into production ourselves and from there, into export of produce as well.
We were amongst the pioneers in exporting Tea, in value added form, and one of the first companies to own Tea bagging Machines in this country. We have diversified into the export of other produce and in a very short time established a strong presence in these areas. We were amongst the biggest exporters of DC & Copra in the past couple of years. and have regular exports of Spices such as Pepper, Cloves, Cinnamon, Nutmegs, Mace & Cashews which are all featured in our lists of exports both in container loads & lesser quantities.
We have a well developed niche clientel who have been dealing with us for several years from all over the world.
