Bathtub Beautiful has been serving the Kansas City metro area since 1983. We are a member of the Better Business Bureau and honor a five year warranty on all resurfacing invoices.
Our procedure is straightforward: we strip old caulking; acid wash the surface; fill chips, cracks and scratches; sand the surface; mask the surrounding walls and floor; apply two coats of primer/bonding agent; apply five coats of catalyzed urethane; remove the tape; and caulk the tub. The procedure time is approximately five hours and the drying time is 48 hours.
Care is simple. Just avoid abrasive cleaners, rubber mats or stickers to preserve your beautiful "new" tub. The price for a standard bathtub in one of four stock colors is $275. Tile resurfacing is $8 per square foot. Custom colors and color matching is available. We also offer tile repair and regrouting.
