Bassett Aromatherapy was created by JoAnne Bassett in 1993. The business grew out of the need to find high quality essential oils. The health food store variety did not feel right energetically. My mission was to find and import oils that were still alive and where you could "feel" the soul of the plant. My mottos became "Smell the Difference" and "Fresh and Alive." I have travelled to 30 countries and have discovered small family operations where people care about the land, the plants, and the proper distillation method to produce the finest therapeutic essential oil. The good intention starts with the small family grower on through distillation, to Bassett Aromatherapy and to the end user the client. With my Indian essential oil purchases I support a whole village in South India.
I strive to find the highest quality oils possible and stock an extensive collection of wildcrafted and organic essential oils, absolutes, CO2's, and organic hydrosols, rare hydrodistilled hydrosols, and solid parfums.
I manufacture synergies, massage oils, bath and body oils, Zone Therapy oils, and body lotions. My latest venture is creating exquisite natural eau de toilettes and parfums in French perfume bottles with exceptional packaging. I stock bottles, carrier oils, and accessories for you to make your own special mixtures.
