- Professional Experience: Susi's own work is primarily traditional Black Ash woodsplint basketry. Her baskets are all based solidly on 19th century New England tradition. She has taught classes in Black Ash woodsplint basketry at craft centers, basketry festivals and conferences. Her baskets have been featured in juried museum shows around the United States and in Canada. She served as Basketry Guild Liaison for The News Basket, published by Press de LaPlantz, Inc. Her work has been pictured in books such as Twill Basketry by Shereen LaPlantz, Baskets from Nature's Bounty
