- The Johnson Electric Supply Company was founded in 1907 in downtown Cincinnati. In 1982 we moved to our current location at 1841 Eastern Avenue. Our Blue Ash Branch opened in December of 1990. In October of 2002, we acquired Basic Electric, with two locations in Columbus and Newark. The Johnson Electric Supply Company is well known for quality in the products we sell and the services we provide to our customers.
