Another great Rotary year begins. Last year we celebrated the 100th anniversary of Rotary service. Today we carry on our community and international service as we enter the next century of Rotary. Our Club exemplifies this year’s Rotary theme “Service Above Self”
I am very honoured to be chosen President of the Barrie Rotary Club in its 59th year of service. We have an excellent Board of Directors to take the club through another successful Rotary year. The real success of our club however, is the hard work and dedication of each and every member.
To the Rotary members of our club, the success and effectiveness is up to us. When everyone is involved we will better serve the local and international community. It is up to us to spread the Rotary culture so the community knows why we raise money and what they can expect us to do with these funds to make the local and world community a better place to live
