Barracott plants was started four years ago by Geoff Turner and Thelma Watson who have been in horticulture for most of their lives.
We are a small nursery of about one acre growing more unusual and interesting herbaceous perennials, (especially woodland and shade loving) Restios, Phormiums and some Bamboos. We like to think Barracott is a plantsman’s nursery.
We grow a wide range of cvs of Acanthus, Astrantia, Bergenia, Brunnera, Cautleya, Convallaria, Disporum, Disporopsis, Ligularia, Liriope, Ophiopogon, Podophyllum, Polygonatum, Pulmonaria, Rheum, Roscoea, Smilacina, Symphytum, Trillium, Tricyrtis and others.
