Barnstormers Comedy began towards the end of 2001 in the form of a monthly show in Seaford. The event was an immediate success and, as a consequence, promoter Stephen Newberry and regular compere Kevin Precious have gone on to launch a number of similar events across Sussex. As the idea has developed, a number of sponsors (both local and county-wide) have added their support to the project. Acts that have appeared on Barnstormers stages include Steve Day, Danny Bhoy, Shazia Mirzar, Boothby Graffoe, Paul Zenon, Andy Parsons, Rob Rouse and Jeff Green.egion1
