- When Barney and Rosalee Barclay opened their first shop selling Indian motorcycles it was 1946. Being an indian dealer during those early years wasn't "easy street" and the demise of the Indian factory in the early 50's didn't make things any easier. The business was moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1953 and has remained in the same location. The Barney's family aquired the Brandon location in 1999.
