- Captain Jack Shea is a licensed USCG captain who has been avidly fishing Barnegat Bay and local ocean waters for the past fifteen years. During that time, he has averaged between 75 and 100 days on the water each year, fishing the bay from the early Spring opening of flounder season well into December when the shallows get clogged with ice.
