The Barberton Sports Hall of Fame honors those natives of Barberton, Ohio who have distinguished themselves in the sports field. An individual other than a player or coach who has made a major contribution to Barberton sports may be nominated for the O.C. Barber Award. Founded in 1979, the Hall has inducted more than 200 local sports figures, honoring a new class of 3 to 5 inductees and an O.C.
