Banta Saw started business in 1975, in Warkworth, Ontario, as a family run operation distributing in Eastern and Central Ontario. We traveled throughout Ontario with a stocked vehicle, carrying chain saw related parts. We called on servicing dealers on a five week return basis. It soon become apparent that it was necessary to expand into a line of lawnmower and small tractor parts. It was also apparent that it was no longer practical to service dealers from a stocked vehicle, as our inventory grew to over 5000 parts.
Five years ago we made the decision to service dealers from our home base. We computerized our operation, and by using Courier service realized we could offer same day service, for delivery the next day.
We purchase our parts from manufacturers all over the world, covering the small engine field, which is growing at an incredible rate.
