REVIEW OF BALLY FITNESS
Bally Fitness is one of the largest health club chains in North America, with over 400 clubs in 70 cities across the United States and in Toronto. The company also recently opened clubs in China, South Korea, and the Bahamas. According to the website, the club has more than 4 million members worldwide. Consumers are probably most familiar with Bally Fitness through its advertisements, which boast the standard free classes and fitness assessment. With many locations and classes to choose from, Bally Fitness’s main selling point is its wide array of options. We will examine some of these options in order to determine whether or not this club’s features are worth the cost of membership.

REVIEW OF Bally Fitness
Bally Fitness offers a variety of services for consumers to choose from in order to customize their fitness plan. In addition to the standard range of fitness classes – yoga, hip-hop aerobics, spinning – the gym also offers a martial arts program in which children, teens, and adults can train in Taekwondo from white belt to advanced black belt. Unfortunately, the Total Martial Arts program is only available in select states and clubs, so consumers may want to check its availability in their area before signing up with Bally Fitness. The gym also offers a nutrition and weight loss program. A Bally Fitness staff member checks your resting metabolic rate, then factors in your overall lifestyle in order to determine the necessary amount of calories you need to burn through the exercise. Members may then access Bally Fitness’s online weight loss program, which offers meal options and support. Like most gyms, Bally Fitness also offers personal trainers for an additional fee. These one-on-one sessions are designed to diversify your workouts, increase cardiovascular endurance, and improve strength and flexibility. The website also offers a number of tools for members, including calorie calculators, meal plans, and sample workouts.
