Founded in May 1996, Bags began primarily as a distributor of stock industrial packaging. An early adopter of technology, Bags developed it’s first website in 1996 and used the web as its main source of marketing and advertising. By the end of 1997, Bags re-evaluated customer needs and requests and began to focus more on retail packaging, adding paper bags—shopper, merchandise and SOS—to its existing inventory of plastic products.
