- David Womer, M.S. founded Back Into Nature, Inc. in 1994 to bring the outdoors closer to home and people closer to nature. David, who received a bachelor and master of science degree in biology from Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas, previously worked as a staff naturalist and environmental educator in Somerset County, New Jersey. He has taught and developed programs in environmental science and natural history for pre-schoolers to senior citizens. David, whose team has twice won the renowned World Series of Birding Competition in New Jersey and also enjoys participating in The Great Texas Birding Classic. He enjoys sharing his broad knowledge and love of nature with people of all ages.
