Baby's Little Treasures was created by Donna Simon and her daughter Briget Miller to offer hand-made blankets for babies and toddlers to love and cherish. As a grandmother to Briget's triplets, Kaitlyn, Hannah and Jason,
born in April 2002, Donna began making baby blankets as a hobby so that her grandchildren would have nice, soft, decorative blankets to lay on for their "tummy time". Soon she was making baby blankets for all sorts of holidays and occasions:
It became clear that she enjoyed what she was doing and that the triplets were beginning to have too many baby blankets of their own. So with encouragement from friends and family who started purchasing Donna's baby blankets for their own children and their friend's babies as shower gifts, a home business was born. Briget joined Donna in this venture so she could care for the triplets and their younger cousin Connor while working out of her house.
