Description
Awesome Garage was founded by Sean Seifert and Terry Carto. They formed the company when they realized how difficult it was to find the fixtures, tools and equipment for their own garages.
Several years ago, when Sean and Terry each built their homes, they were frustrated by the lack of garage and basement shelving and storage options available to them as homeowners. The cheap, low-quality stuff available at home-improvement centers was not consistent with the high standards under which they had constructed their new homes. Eventually, they were able to order some basic shelving from an industrial supplier that their employer had an account with. It was a difficult and time-consuming process that took months to complete. They knew there had to be a better way.
Fast forward to 2001, when Sean and Terry had the opportunity to start a new business. The experience of building their own homes had left them with the basis for the concept of Awesome Garage. As they discussed the idea with other homeowners, they were overwhelmed by the response. The time for Awesome Garage had arrived!
