Max and Wilma Mez opened their IHC dealership in 1943 in Avoca Iowa and their son Jerry has grown up with the business. After being discharged from the army in 1965 Jerry joined Avoca Implement full time. They purchased the Greenfield store in 1993 from Denny Davis who is still with them as manager of that store. Through the years every member of Jerry’s family has taken part in the business; his wife Joyce, and their children Jay, Joy and Joel.
The people at both locations take pride in their service to their customers and believe that is what has built the dealerships to the success they are today. They have grown with the changes in the equipment industry and in farming; and as they meet the challenges of the future they stand strong on their statement:
