- Authors To Believe In™ online bookstore was established in the fall of 2003 by Lifevest Publishing, Inc. as a way of giving its authors an affordable internet presence - in fact, for them, it's free. We found that most authors are not web-savvy, nor do they care to be; they are writers and artists, not programmers or technicians. As a publisher however, we have had to embrace the information age and as such, are able to provide this bookstore to our authors for nominal expense. As a key part of our service, we already provide information on these author's and their books to other players in the industry (R.R. Bowker, Amazon.com, Borders, Ingram Book Group, Spring Arbor, etc), so it is only a short-hop to add the same information to this bookstore so our authors can say, "Yes, we do have a webpage. You can buy my book at www.AuthorsToBelieveIn.com." It was quite a natural evolution.
