Shad Scharlach is founder, owner and operator of Austin Float Trips. His experience includes 19 years of floating and rafting rivers around the country, including Class Five rivers in Colorado. Over the last twelve years, Shad has spent countless hours on the rivers of Central Texas, and has elevated the recreational activity of floating them to an art form. Shad grew up in east Texas on a farm and ranch.
