Adam Prestridge was named president of Atmore Newspapers, Inc. and publisher of The Atmore Advance, The Escambia Advertiser and atmoreadvance.com in January 2005. Prior to taking on his role at the Advance, Prestridge was editor of The Luverne Journal and sports editor of The Greenville Advocate. He joined Boone Newspapers, Inc. after serving as sports editor of The North Jefferson News in Gardendale for seven years.
