Chartered March 12, 1920, the Athens Rotary Club has established itself both in the local community and in the Rotary community, as evidenced by its continuing tradition of service above self.
Harry Woods is secretary, Grant Tribble treasurer, Len Davis sergeant-at-arms and Blake Giles bulletin editor and webmaster. Directors include Bobby Heath, Len Sapera, Jim Dove, Marty Webb, Chris Caldwell, Tony Cushenberry, Steve Jones, Helen Mills, Nat Carmack and Gary Hudson.
has been nicknamed the “Cradle of District Governors” because of the leadership it has contributed to the district as a whole. Nathan Carmack will join the list of past district governors when he serves in that role in the future.
