History & Mission
In 1990, fifteen SAPPHIRE® attendees met at the conclusion of the conference to form an SAP users' group. Within one year, ASUG was created.
Since then, ASUG has provided more than 1,700 corporate and 45,000 individual members with a collection of unmatched benefits. Because of what we offer, ASUG ranks as the largest independent, not-for-profit organization of SAP customer companies and eligible partners vendors in the world.
Our mission is straightforward and effective: to continuously educate our members, facilitate networking among colleagues and SAP representatives, and influence future SAP product releases and direction. Each of our member programs is designed and executed with these objectives in mind.
