About
Dr. Astrid Scholz, an ecological economist by training, received her Ph.D. in Energy and Resources from the University of California at Berkeley. Astrid is an affiliate faculty member of Oregon State University's College of Oceanic and Atmospheric Sciences program, and is co-editor of Place Matters, a book on integrated marine geographic information systems that OSU Press published in 2005. She serves on the boards of the Pacific Marine Conservation Council and the Living Oceans Society, and is a member of the Science and Technical Team of the Oil Spill Recovery Institute.
