Our rapidly growing research and teaching group within the Department of Physics at WVU explores a wide variety of hot topics in current astrophysics. Our current research strengths are in compact objects and galaxy formation and evolution. We have close ties with the nearby National Radio Astronomy Observatory and the Arecibo Observatory.
