- Hi, my name is Chris. I run this website as a public service to the world. AskFranSlanders.com originally started in 1996 when I was visiting a local bar outside Charleston, SC. I met this inquisitive woman having a vodka martini named Fran Slanders. As I remember her, she was quite attractive. I'm figuring around early to mid 30's, 5'7" with long dark hair. Disclaimer: My recollection may be somewhat skewed as it was nearing closing time and I was quite inebriated. Anyway, in speaking to this mysterious person, I learned she was a plethora of knowledge and appeared to be highly educated. We're talking MENSA qualities here! We discussed problems with the world and the various human mentalities that caused such issues. I told her I was a computer guy and asked if she would like to express her views to help out humanity. She agreed, I gave her my contact information and we both went on our separate ways.
